We collect business contact details (name, job title, company, email address, telephone number and business address); trade account application information including company registration details, trading history, trade references and identification documents for directors and beneficial owners; transaction records including quotations, orders, invoices and delivery documentation; recruitment information where you apply for a vacancy; and technical information about your visit to this website, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.

We process this information to assess and approve trade account applications, to carry out identity and credit verification, to supply goods and services and administer the resulting contract, to meet legal and regulatory obligations including anti-money-laundering and export control requirements, to prevent and detect fraud, to consider job applications, and to respond to enquiries. Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests are the operation, security and growth of a business-to-business wholesale operation.

Trade account applications require identification documents for directors and beneficial owners. These documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage that is not publicly accessible, are visible only to authorised staff carrying out account verification, and are deleted once they are no longer required for verification or record-keeping purposes.

We share information with credit reference and identity verification agencies during account approval; with freight, courier and customs agents to the extent necessary to deliver your consignment; with our professional advisers, insurers and auditors; and with law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Where information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, for example to arrange freight or customs clearance in a destination market, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Trade account and transaction records are retained for a minimum of six years from the end of the relationship in order to meet accounting, tax and regulatory obligations. Identity documents are deleted once verification is complete and the applicable record-keeping period has passed. Incomplete or abandoned applications are purged automatically after a defined period. Recruitment records for unsuccessful applicants are retained for twelve months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request erasure or restriction of processing in certain circumstances, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to request portability of information you provided to us.
